Wedding planning is an intensely personal journey. We strive to make that process smooth and enjoyable, as well as ensuring the plan in place leaves space for you to enjoy the fruits of your labor.

What results from our effortless, straightforward planning process is a wedding that is intimately tailored to the bride and groom, enjoyable to all who attend, and memorable for years to come.

This is me on my own wedding day — boutonniere smashed, curls fallen, lipstick gone — I was exhausted, and we hadn’t even gotten to the reception. You see, I DIY’ed my wedding planning. I was young, and I didn’t know anything about the wedding industry, but I thought I could handle it. I figured I’d rather save the money I would spend on a planner. The wedding was stunning. It’s been nearly 10 years, and my friends and family still talk about it. My memories, on the other hand, are a bit more clouded.

Everything about my wedding was planned to a T, except the part where my mother and I got to enjoy our day. We walked so many miles getting things set up that we barely saw each other! She woke me up on the big day and said, “Honey if you have any questions about marriage, now is your chance. I won’t see you again until it’s a done deal!” And boy was she right!

I tried to DIY my entire wedding, and I wound up only getting to see my mother once the entire day!

Whom ever is working your event will not be having as much fun at the event as the other guests. It is worth the money to get help on the day-of, to make sure everyone enjoys the day. After learning that lesson the hard way, I set out to make sure none of my friends suffered the same fate. I got pretty good at coordinating and designing. Years later, after a short-lived career as an environmental attorney, I've returned to that original passion as a professional planner. Too often, people work so hard on an event that they are not able to enjoy it! My passion is creating an event that is custom tailored to the couple and family, and that gives my clients space to really be present in their day.
